The Write/Read (Verification) module starts by writing (printing) a sequential record from a file on the PC on a product. Immediately after printing, data is viewed by a barcode scanner or camera as appropriate. The software matches the data from the scanner or camera against what was known to have been printed on the product. The data file on the PC is updated as each record is printed. A printed and verified record cannot be easily reprinted (unless the user confirmations the reprint explicitly). As done above, product sensors track the product along the conveyor. At the end of the conveyor, the software will close the diverter gate to allow correct product to proceed to stacker; all other product will be diverted.
